Monday October 22nd through Friday October 26th
Crews will continue forming and pouring median islands and sidewalks at the Baker Creek Road Round-about.
Motorist can expect congestion, flaggers and detours in the area.
Throughout the corridor, daytime closures and\or lane restrictions will be necessary at times while crews complete curbing, paving, sidewalks, landscaping, irrigation and other miscellaneous work. Utility Companies will also be pulling wire and preparing for the eventual under-grounding of the overhead lines throughout the corridor. Please be cautious in the area and obey traffic control devices, flaggers, road closures and detour routes when they are in place.
Project Overview From the City of McMinnville: The NW Hill Road Improvements Project is the largest of the five Capital Improvement Projects identified within the Transportation Bond approved by voters in 2014. This project will construct widening and other improvements between NW 2nd Street and NW Baker Creek Road including: wider travel lanes, bike lanes, sidewalks, turn lanes, landscaping, street lighting, drainage improvements, and improved roadway geometry. The "S-curves" at Fox Ridge Road will be softened, and roundabouts will be constructed at Hill Road's intersections with Baker Creek Road and Wallace Road. The project is expected to be substantially complete by November 30, 2018.
