Age & Class Breakdowns Sunday & Wednesday classes in our nursery and preschool department are based on the following criteria. 0-9 month-olds attend the Infants class. 9-18 month-olds attend the Movers class. Children 18 months and older, but not yet in a K class, attend the Toddlers & Twos class. K classes are determined by the year a child enters kindergarten. Current K classes are: K13 for children entering kindergarten in 2013, K14 for children entering kindergarten in 2014, K15 for children entering kindergarten in 2015. From time to time some classes may be combined or divided, depending on class size.
Weekend Programming Weekend classes for preschool-age participants involve a Bible-intensive, station-based curriculum consisting of age-appropriate music, activities, crafts, visuals, sensory learning experiences and play time. Classes are offered at both the 9:30am and 11:00am services. Infants and Movers are "taught as they go" through songs and teaching statements.
Midweek Programming Wednesday classes for nursery and preschool children (birth to Pre-K) open at 6:30pm and include Bible stories, playtime and other learning activities. Parents are encouraged to drop off the kids and then attend a small group or a class, go out together or just take a little break while the kids are cared for and taught more about God's love and his world. Wednesday classes end at 8:15pm. (Open house registration for midweek programming is the first Wednesday of September. After that date, parents should plan for an additional 10-15 minutes at their first drop-off to register their child(ren). To save a little time, print and complete all three registration forms before your arrive.)

CLOSED CLASSES We are extremely thankful for the 250+ volunteers that make our ministry efforts possible.
From time to time and for various reasons, volunteers are absent. In these cases, if a back-up is not available, a class will be closed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are interested in serving as a back-up for your child’s class, complete a Background Check Release Form and return it to either Help Center in the children’s wing. |
